Kiwi

We all know that kiwi is a nutritious fruit. But, quite frankly, I don't think it gets the attention it deserves. YouTuber Jeff Nippard, in one of his videos, mentioned how Kiwi is one of the healthiest and beneficial superfoods out there.

1 Kiwi, weighing about 69 grams, contains 42 calories, only 2 grams of sugar, and a whopping 8 grams of protein (2). It also has double the amount of Vitamin C found in strawberries and oranges, as well as a significantly higher amount of vitamin E and K when compared to other fruits (1). Its other nutrients include potassium, folate, calcium, vitamin A, and pack a good amount of antioxidants.

Due to its high amount of vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant and immune booster, kiwi helps strengthen the immune system, improve respiratory health, and improve skin health (2). Due to its fiber content, kiwi also helps improve digestion and reduce constipation. Its high vitamin K content also helps promote bone health, while its serotonin content also helps you fall asleep faster and improve sleep quality.
